What to Expect During the Day

  • Welcome refreshments and volunteer briefing (9:00 AM)
  • Donation sorting and packaging activities
  • Community lunch provided (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)
  • Special recognition ceremony for top contributors (5:30 PM)
  • Live music performances throughout the day
  • Photo opportunities with community leaders

How Donations Will Be Used

  • 40% - Local food bank and shelter support
  • 25% - Educational supplies for underprivileged children
  • 20% - Healthcare assistance fund
  • 15% - Administrative and operational costs

All funds will be distributed within 30 days to verified local organizations. Full transparency report available on our website.

Volunteer Opportunities

Morning Shift (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM):

  • Donation collection and sorting
  • Registration desk assistance
  • Setup and decoration team

Afternoon Shift (1:00 PM - 6:00 PM):

  • Package preparation and labeling
  • Distribution coordination
  • Cleanup and breakdown crew

Special Roles:

  • Photography documentation
  • Social media live updates
  • Children's activity coordination

No experience necessary - training provided on-site

Venue Details and Directions

🎵 The Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons

If coming from the city centre / Accra Central, head toward Ridge. You can use Independence Avenue. The GCPS is on this road in the Ridge area.

Landmark will be the Ridge Roundabout, and also near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Passport Office.

  • Reserved handicap spaces near main entrance
  • Valet parking available for mobility-impaired guests
  • Drop-off zone directly in front of theater
